Nursery Pandemic Plan 

Based on recommendations from the CDC Guidance for Child Care Programs that Remain Open, we have formulated the following plan to continue keeping our community safe.

1.    Any worker/child who is sick or shows any symptoms should stay home.

2.    If any new symptoms appear the worker or child (and siblings) will be sent home. 

3.    Volunteers will wear masks except when eating, drinking, supervising outdoor play, reading Bible stories or teaching a lesson.

4.    We will have hand sanitizer at the nursery entrance for volunteers and children to sanitize their hands before entering.

5.    All toys and surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected prior to the next Sunday.

6.    Snacks that the church provides will be safely individually packaged and hands washed/sanitized before distributing.

7.    In the event that a child or volunteer has had close contact with a confirmed or suspected case or thinks s/he has COVID-19 themselves, you should notify us immediately and we will determine the best plan moving forward.
